This PVC-U foot valve functions as a non-return valve at the suction end of a water pump. It features a bottom strainer and an upper solvent-weld socket connection. Installed at the submerged end of the suction pipe, it filters debris, prevents backflow when the pump stops, maintains water in the pipe, and supports reliable pump priming and restarting.
